Molly has a strong background in veterinary medicine with an Associate’s degree in Animal Technology, and a Bachelor's of science in Animal and Nutritional Sciences, with an additional focus in Molecular Biology from West Virginia University. During that time, she actively practiced in veterinary hospitals as a Registered Veterinary Technician (primarily in emergency medicine) and spent time volunteering with raptor rehabilitation. She also pursued undergraduate research in genetics and developmental biology, which introduced her to research and an interest in genetic engineering. Molly is currently pursuing her MS and PhD here with the help of her amazing advisor Dr. Anastasia Vlasova, and her goal is to help close the gaps between animal and human health through research and development.
