Biography:
Maryssa graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She started her time at the OARDC as an intern during the summer of 2018 within the department of Horticulture, after her internship she transitioned to a student employee position that fall. Maryssa worked with Horticulture and Plant Pathology for several months within the greenhouses, doing field work, and general lab work. Those experiences encouraged Maryssa to apply for her current position as a Research Assistant within CFAH, which she started in the fall of 2019.
