On May 7th, two of CFAH’s own received their degrees from The Ohio State University along with over 12,200 of their fellow graduates.
Juliet Chepngeno, a Ph.D. candidate advised by Dr. Anastasia Vlasova and co-advisor Dr. Linda Saif, received her Ph.D. from the Department of Veterinary Preventive Medicine – College of Veterinary Medicine. Juliet successfully defended her dissertation titled “Vitamin A Deficiency and Vitamin A Supplementation Affect Innate, Adaptive and Passive Immune Responses against Rotavirus A in a Conventional Sow Model” on February 24th, 2023. Dr. Chepngeno has accepted a Senior Research Associate position in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Ronna Wood, a CFAH staff member, received her B.S. in Animal Sciences from the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Ronna will be pursuing her DVM this Fall at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
