CFAH Stamps Out Disease at the 2022 Farm Science Review

Sep. 28, 2022

CFAH volunteers travelled to the 60th Farm Science Review held in London, OH from Sept. 20th-22nd to share the history of the Center for Food Animal Health, our research focuses, and to help attendees learn how to Stamp Out Disease. The 2022 Farm Science Review welcomed 114,589 visitors during the course of the three-day event which is held at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center. FSR is a great opportunity for many exhibitors, like CFAH, to present their focuses and employ hands-on learning opportunities for students and attendees from Ohio and neighboring states.

CFAH outreach at FSR included the popular Stamp Out Disease arcade game, CFAH history fill-in, finding the culprit of disease case studies, and recognizing pathogens that cause disease.

A big thank you to Mike Kauffman and Dr. Scott Kenney for managing outreach planning, booth set-up, assembling volunteers, and running the booth every day of the review! Also a big thank you to all CFAH volunteers who helped work the booth this year.
