CFAH doctoral candidates receive CRWAD travel award

Congratulations to both Menuka Bhandari (Rajashekara lab) and Kush Yadav (Kenney lab) on receiving $500 CRWAD student travel awards to present their abstracts at the upcoming meeting in January 2023. Menuka and Kush were chosen as two of 20 awardees after submiting a 500 word essay during the abstract submission process to explain how their research is of interest to the attendees of the CRWAD conference.

For over 100 years, the Conference of Research Workers in Animal Diseases (CRWAD) has featured cutting-edge research on animal health and disease, population health, and translational medicine. CRWAD 2023 will feature lectures from world-renowned featured speakers in addition to showcasing over 400 research presentations made by scientific experts and scientists-in-training from around the world. In 2023, CRWAD will be a hybrid meeting held in Chicago, alongside recorded presentations from around the globe.
